Re: "EIKI [...] makes portable and standard 16mm line very limited."

In 2003, Frank said, "Eiki is phasing out their 16mm projector production line at the end of the year," and I assume that actually happened...

Ahhhhh, At last someone who knows Japaneese machines. I have a 16/35 Nippon Denshi Kogaku projector that I have been trying to find parts info on for years. I am missing the 16mm gate on this one. Do you know if any of these parts are available. Not sure why I want to complete this machine these days but it would be fun to run it.

Thanks!
Mark

Donno, I'm not really into Sushi. Last time I had it was when I worked at Canon in the late 70's.

Japanese dual format projectors use Elmo 16mm projector heads mainly. Cineforward is no exception of that.

I will post a picture of it when I am back in town and perhaps you would recognize it. The projector uses dual 16/35 sprockets and the 16mm gate interchanges with the 35mm gate and so on. It is definately not Elmo.

So, yours is not like a double head one as most of them are, and like Ernemann 16/35mm or 35/70mm projectors. Hmm I see... Never seen before. I eagerly am waiting for the picture...
By the way, the latest Fuji Central projectors have Eiki 16mm heads.
