Hi
I think I know the answer to this question already.........buy a CSP1200!!
Anyway I have a Smart Mod6 that has only one "Music"(non-sync) input and I want to run audio through it for the on-screen ads.
I don't see how I can do it as it doesn't have an "External" input that most processors have.
The audio will be coming from a PC.
Cheers Ian

The mod 6 has a 6 track digital input in a DB25 connector on the back
Otherwise use a DIP DPDT relay to switch the audio going to the nonsync input

Hi Gordon
I understand how to use the DPDT relay but I don't understand how the 6 track digital input is any good to me?
Cheers Ian

If the source is line level then you can address on the digial input connector all 5.1 inputs
Projector 2 would require padding down and would go through the NR

Wasn't sure what kind of audio feed you had, Ian, that couldn't use the non-sync input? Smart suggests using the projector 2 input for things like DVD players, etc., in the Mod 7a and 8 manuals. [Smile]

??
quote:
The PROJECTOR 2 input can be configured for use with a film projector or
for use as an audio input from a video source such as a DVD, LaserDisk, or VCR. When used as an audio for video input,
the left and right channels are processed through the Circle Surround matrix for multi-channel sound.

The mod 7 and 8 the projector2 input can be configured via a jumper for line level and bypass the NR
The mod 6 is just 2 projector cell level inputs

10-4 Gordon. Thanks. Have never seen a Mod 6, so I was taking a wild stab in the dark. [Smile]
