i got a 3000w bulb the other day the step said 3000w the box was a 3000w box and it is bright like a 3000w but the bulb envilope was super small like a 1500w bulb is something wrong???

What brand of bulb? You could check the serial number on the bulb (anode or cathode end) against the box to see if they match.

Possibly a 3000HS bulb that would be about 3 + inches shorter or HTP which would be about an inch shorter than a common 3000W/H. End fitting diameter and use of thread or not would be different than 3000W/H...but it could be forced into the existing fittings [Roll Eyes]

its not shoreter andevery thing is normal about it lenghth and everything just the bulb envilope is very small
