I have been looking for a portable 35mm projector and this one popped up on eBay. I've never heard of this model before and would be interested in any comments folks have about it. Thanks.

E-Bay needs shorter links.

This is a Shinkyo projector from Japan which was modified by AVE in New York for portable interlock projection. Popular in the 1960 - early 1970's. Shinkyo no longer is producing and AVE is long gone but some parts are available. Rangertone of New Jersey took over the distribution but they probably have no supplies on hand.

Richard, you amaze me! I can't recall any instance where you have been unable to identify a piece of equipment from abroad. Good call! [thumbsup]
