What software are you using in your cinema for the digitalads.

I was just wondering what is the best. We are running our ads in Scala IC200 before show and in intermission. That is very good software but what is your cinema using.

I know, some of the cinema are still using 35mm slides projectors but if you are running the ads in digital what are you using.

We require size to be 1280 x 720 pixels high res. 3-5 separate frame images are created in Adobe Photoshop as PSD to 300dpi.

The PSD files are placed into Adobe Premiere Pro and assigned as 5 seconds each. This file is exported to a high res Avi movie file. The files (which are large 1Gigabyte each) are transported on a Maxtor removable drive to the cinema where they are uploaded to the Panalogic Media Player.

We do not use sound because we prefer to play more appropriate music in the background. Customers will sit and watch the slides without being bombarded by loud music or sounds. (Otherwise we find they avoid going in early and watching them.) Our slides are 15secs each.

Our design studio uses Adobe Premiere Pro because it allows specific sizes. All other movie programs won’t let you set the exact proportions we require. Our designer has tried all of them.
