I have one platter system which stopped working when the power supply stopped working. Upon closer inspection I found the power supply consists of three power supply boards which work together. If one fails, there are two left to keep it runnning. For some reason, this platter system keeps burning the power supply boards up. Anyone else have this problem?

Get the software and cable form Strong as it is very helpful to be seeing what is going on in the platter. You may have a motor failing and I have had several drive cards fail in them but overall they are an excellent platter system, more reliable than most.

Thanks, I have been curious about the cable interface, but have never pursued it. Looks like this is as good a time as any. Thanks for the tip.
