My theater orders booth supplies from Sentry Lighting and it's getting to be time for me to order some more booth supplies. We're almost out of FilmGuard and I would like to switch to using the Film-Tech media pads to simplify the task of FilmGuarding our prints.

Anyway, the Sentry Lighting catalog lists PN: BS93700 for "Film cleaning media." A brand is not given, but their web catalog shows the following picture next to that item:

http://www.sentrylighting.net/store/index.asp?DEPARTMENT_ID=188

In the picture, they appear to be the same white-on-carboard rolls we are using now, but they are depicted in a box that says "Film-Tech MediaPads." I was under the impression that the Film-Tech pads are blue, hence my confusion.

So does Sentry sell Film-Tech pads or just the standard ones? Can anyone tell me if there is a specific Sentry part number for the FT pads?

Thanks!

Film-Tech pads are white now, not blue. The box in the pic is the real article.

I see. Do they still come on the notched cores for rewinding purposes?

Yup, that's the stuff. We switched over from blue to white 6 years ago, but never got around to changing the picture here on the website. (People complained they couldn't see how dirty they were with them being colored.)

Don't forget to save your cores and redeem them for more goods.
