I create my own databases for items I want to inventory. You can use a database program or even make a spreadsheet program (like Microsoft Excel) work as a basic database.

I use Panorama by ProVUE for my databases.

Depending on how sophisticated a database you want and the fields you would like to have, the MARC bibliographic format and standard may be useful as a reference.

007 Physical Description Fixed Field (Motion Picture)

Other useful references
(Videorecording)
(Sound Recording)

Thank's for the reply. I remember a little software that included some movie information (16/35mm-agfa/kodak/technicolor-dupe/originale-wear-splices) created for the collectors, but I don't remeber the link!! [Mad]

Has anyone tried Collectorz.com collection database software?

The Movie Collector software appears to be for video. Can you add to the format field?
