Author Topic: Suggestions for an Optical Failsafe for Vic 8 Don Furr Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 509 From: Sun City, Ca USA Registered: Nov 2002 posted 02-28-2006 07:36 AM                     Does anyone have some ideas for a optical failsafe that will work for both 35 and 70mm on a Vic 8. I can't mount anything below the lower film guide because of running 27" reels. I can mount something on the shelf directly aft of the motor mount with is very close to the lower sprocket.
