Unless I'm wrong,I read about 16 mm DTS readers & formats on here one time. I have a Revere S-16 sound projector & is there a way to make a mount such as a temporary one for a Revere S-16?

I don't think there are any 16mm DTS prints, Matthew.

Now you have an opportunity to match high-resolution 70mm images with high-resolution DTS Digital Sound. DTS is capable of playing back up to 10 channels of digital sound for 16mm, 35mm, and 70mm prints in 5 perf, 8 perf, and 15 perf...For more information on DTS Special Venue applications, visit our Web site at: www.dtsonline.com, or contact Walter Browski at (818) 706-3525, ext. 298.

DTS did make a 16mm reader I beleive at one time but currently they make a preamp that uses the regular cell and switches between optical sound and time code output
It has been used on several festivals

If the 16mm projector has a 600-ohm output (such as higher-end Eiki and Elmo xenon portables, most pedestal xenon models, and Eiki SSL and SNT models), the output would be fed to pins 1 (TC hot) and 6 (TC ground) of the reader input on the DTS decoder. Feeding a speaker output from a projector, especially an old one with a vacuum-tube amplifier, would be risky to say the least.

This thread has more information on 16mm DTS, an intriguing concept if it wasn't for the two minor details of almost nonexistent prints and the near death of 16mm as an exhibition format. [Frown]
