This may not be doable but I would like to add a motor to my top
reel arm. This way when Im done running a 2k reel I would take the film from the bottom take up and feed it out the front of the machine use a few rollers and bring it back to the top reel and hit a switch for a motorized rewind.

I have no idea what size motor I would need but the smaller the better. Any links to such a motor with needed pulleys would be great. I can rig the rest myself but finding the parts is the hard part.

Also if you recommend I not do this for what ever reason the I will abandon the idea.

Thanks!

Heres a pic of the top of my DeVry.

I would nix the reel arm thingy and add the red readers first. This takes the projector from a four banger to a V-12, then add the reel armn thingy to take it to a V-16... if you can afford the gas!
