Author Topic: PS1B Dolby Power supply use on CP50 Warren Smyth Expert Film Handler Posts: 158 From: Auckland ,New Zealand Registered: Aug 2003 posted 08-31-2005 12:07 AM                     Can a PS1B power supply be used for a CP50 as an emergency back up? There is a 3 volt dfference (plus and minus 15v instead of 12v). Note, the 12V supplies on the CP50 are kind of a "wink and nudge" sort of thing. Pull all of the cards out...watch the rails rise...put them in 1 by 1 watch them fall...if they get to 10 Volts...you loose, you will have hum.
