We ordered two replacement reels for War of the Worlds the other day. Reel 5 had some small splotches in a few areas, and reel 6 wouldn't play in SDDS at all.

Two replacement reels arrived today...
War Of The Worlds, Reel 5
Fantastic Four, Reel 6

Egad, that's one heck of a goof!

Did the reels come from your ETS branch, or direct from the lab?

Not sure. I wasn't there to receive them. But apparently, once we phoned in the error, someone showed up quickly with the correct reel, and took the incorrect one back - which I assume was one of the local guys.

Shame I wasn't there. I would have called it in and said something non-descript like "it's for the wrong movie" and then sent back our odd reel of "Mouse Hunt". [Wink]

Looks like they came from Deluxe Labs in Hollywood.

Without spoiling any of the story... I can proclaim that the ending to the Fantastic Four was... WEAK.
