I need to know if the small motors used in this turret are repairable. One of my motors starts to turn ok but then it either slows down or stops so a little manual assistance is required to help it along.

Check to see if it spins freeely when its turned off. These motors normally run very hot and sometimes the grease in the bearings literally cooks making the motor sluggish. If the motor seems sluggish when turned by your fingeres then replace the bearings. Ibelieve they may also be capacitor run motors so check the cap as well.
