Hi

I need to know if the ISO curve that is shown in the D2 curve for stage channels has the 10.000Hz Rolloff or not.
If I remember correctly (I saw it once) it was the classic ISO curve with the 3dB rolloff at 40Hz, then 3dB per octave at 2.000Hz and then... how many dB per octave after 10.000Hz?

Thanks a lot!!

Antonio

Hi Antonio !

Just a question what does "D2" mean ?
I know "Bode diagram", slope of X dB per decade, but not "D2" !
I can help you if I know the kind of filter you call "D2" ! [Big Grin]

Hi Gilbert

Sorry for the confusion, the D2 is the new THX spectrum analyzer that has been made after the R2! I need to know the ISO curve that is displayed on the WinRTA software!!!

OK Antonio [Big Grin]

Sorry, I don't know this analyser and this software [Frown]

Generally with analog low-pass filters, we have slopes at -6 dB, -12 dB or -18 dB per octave (resp. -20db, -40 dB and -60 dB per decade).
With software filters "anything" is possible ! But a too much important slope generate signal amplitude oscillations and important phase rotations, it is not good .
Bye

Since it is designed to do THX recerts it should show the same parameters as the R2 and it is the standard ISO curve
