Author Topic: ORC 1000 electric douser information request Barry Hans Film Handler Posts: 92 From: Minneapolis, MN, USA Registered: May 2000 posted 03-08-2005 01:58 PM                        I have an old orc front bulkhead with a Ledex rotary solenoid hooked to the split douser. There is a microswitch that is triggered when the douser is in the closed position. It had "RS" (Remote Shutter) as part of the model number if it was a factory option. These solenoid run dousers were used on 16mm setups and some modified slide projectors.
