I'm building up a last minute replacement print of Shall We Dance (2004) and I'm comparing my reels to the Reel ID on FT. It seems reversed online, but I'm freakin out.

I'm holding the Head of Reel 2 in my hand, "Shall We Dance H-2" and I've confirmed it 10 times. The Head of Reel 2 in my hand is the Tail of Reel 5 in the REEL ID Section. The First Reel I build up has the tail that's pictured on the Head of Reel 6 on FT.

I'm going to trust the leader (althought I really can't b/c it has the Spiderman 2 Spiders on the Heads of all the Reels...can anyone help?

It appears that the Reel IDs on FT are mislabelled.

I ran the picture in mid January and do not recall everything but Dean you are correct in that the tail of Reel 1 is what is pictured as the head of Reel 6 on FT.

Also I do recall that what is actually the end of Reel 5 is listed on FT as the Head of Reel 2 (I recall this because that is where Stanley Tucci tells his co-workers to f**k off and there are dumbstruck in that scene).

I also recall that the end of Reel 3 the girl collapses (this is listed as head of Reel 4 on FT) and that the head of Reel 4 is the hospital bed scene (that was my changeover for the 6,000 foot reels)(this is listed as Foot of Reel 3 on FT)

I also believe that the Head of Reel 6 is what is listed on FT as Foot of Reel 1.

Hope This Helps.

Jonathan, thanks a bunch, I just trusted the Heads and the Tails. It's so weird thought that there are Spiders on the print....oh well...

I have removed Shall We Dance from the Reel ID database while this is investigated.

I recall this now. That was one of those extrmely rare prints where every reel came out tails up. The scanner and database assume heads up, hence why every image was exactly backwards in order. When that happens I normally rename them in the proper order, but I guess I somehow forgot on that one. I will fix this.

I guess this proves to those who think otherwise that I AM human! [Razz]

it's all good, I was just freaking out b/c I use FT as my backup and this print (from Swank) was petty messed up. We orginally booked Shall We Dance (2004), and when the other projectionist went to build it up yesterday, it ws Shall We Dansu (1996). Gotta love booking companies.
