Howdy.
I just got the SDDS proccessor in our big house bag from a repair shop the other day. Myself and our tech installed it and set all the levels and everything was good. Ran some trailers through it and it sounded awesome.
Trouble was, on the first show after he left the RC channel (one of the ones we'd had this same problem with before) started in again.
It sounds similar to white noise but it's lower in frequency than usual and hasn't any of what should be on that channel.
Apparantly I'll be talking with a technician from the company who serviced it on Monday and I was wondering what to expect.
Our tech told me he'd walk me through checking out a few things and probably taking off the front of the proccessor.
I was wondering what would cause this kind of distortion and what to expect on the call.
thanks,

Dom, Robbie is going to tell you that there is either a loose connector between one of the main boards and a daughterboard connected to it, or an unseated IC chip in one of the sockets on said main board. That's why you are 'going inside'.
