I have several unused Bell & Howell BAK exciter lamps & wondering if they can be used with 5 star readers with no or little modification. Why not just buy the proper bulbs (BXM?)? USA Registered: Sep 1999 posted 01-13-2005 10:34 PM                     Yeh what Gordon said. Also the BAK/BRS is a 4 volt, 3/4 amp bulb designed to illuminate the width of a 16mm soundtrack.
