Received a fax on Friday 1/7/05 stating that they would be making their deliveries this week due to impending national weather on Monday 1/11/05.

I thought, yahoo, with 4 titles opening this week, I can get things screened early and not stay so late on Thurs.

See, that can do it. Unfortunately, it required the help of Mother Nature.

After the Christmas debacle I imagine they decided not to take any chances.

Good for them though, at least they do learn from their mistakes [thumbsup] .

Or the studios did. Recommendations can be made but it's ultimately up to them.

Let's see, the four movies coming out this week.

Elektra (Fox) = ETS
Racing Stripes (WB) = ETS
Coach Carter (PAR.) = ETS For additional prints or those who didn't run sneaks
In Good Company (UNIV.) = TES Expanding release The only one benefiting the early delivery.

Too bad this doesn't happen with movies people are actually going to go see.

Does the impending national weather include the -5 degree F highs we're expecting this coming weekend? [Frown]

We just received this fax today...very interesting to say the least. From the looks of it, the only print that this will affect for us is "In Good Company". Still, seeing as how we have 6 bulids this week, any chance to get a head start is cool by me!
