I was just wondering if anyone on the forum has ever dealt with the company,

Southern California Cinetech Services, Inc.
1361 Calle Crisantemo
Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-1702

Phone: (805) 492-5005 Fax: (805) 492-8228
info@socalcinetech.com

They advertise CE red readers but they only take money orders and checks, no credit cards. I have never dealt with them before but they seem pretty reasonable...are there any positive or negative dealings out there, that you could advise me of? Thank you all for your assistance.

Well, first off any dealer that is worth 2 cents will be equipped to take credit cards... primarily for the convenience of his customers. To me a dealer that doesn't is not operating in his customers best interest.....

Secondly... if you are on a VERY tight budget get three quotes before deciding where to buy. Also inquire as to the return policys on special order items and so on and so forth. Aquaint your self with those dealers policys before diciding... That should make it easy for you to decide who to buy from.

I have worked with them on the Brenden Palms install and a video projection job here. My friend and fellow Las Vegan Dave Huskinson works for them doing tech calls here. One of their real/reel specialties these days is theater air conditioning. They're good people.
