Here we have a run-of-the-mill Super Lume-X: And here, a slightly modified one after a day of mayhem: What's been done to this one? And why did you remove the douser? It looks like it hit the end of the longer lamp. The lamp is obviously tilted upward, so alignment is likely quite wrong. You also need to address the positioning of that longer anode lead, or sparks will fly!  |  IP: Logged Mark Gulbrandsen Resident Trollmaster Posts: 16657 From: Music City Registered: Jun 99 posted 10-05-2004 08:19 AM                     The front bulb support is way out of alignment and the positive cable is going to blow a hole in the bottom of the housing when you turn it on because its touching ground. The lamp is in the wrong position and the cone of light will be out of focus. You haven't oiled either lamphouse blower....., nor cleaned the squirrel cages in them..... ever.
