Hello,
I know that it's not polite to ask the magician how the magic is done by I'm lost here..
I got from a junk cleanout from a theatre 2 Smart SR135 and one SR300, all of them are very messed up one of the SR135 and the SR 300 are missing the "black boxes" ,the matrix board on both and one other I didn't figure out what it is in the SR300. one of the SR135 has blown ic's in the preamp circuit and on the other, the IC's where replaced by other type and there are 4 tripots(2 per channel) that aren't part of the A-chain setup where messed up,I replaced the IC's but the sound comming out of them isn't very good,I believe these Tp's have something to do,so the question here is.. how to set them up for proper signal pre-amp'ing?
Now regarding the missing modules.. the only one that's left ,in one of the SR135 seems to be defective too because the surround is dead and the little signal that comes out of it is nothing more than "belchs and farts" in the L/C/R channels( sorry using such terms but that's what descibes better what I'm getting out of it), I know that those modules are the secret of those processors but I'm at a loss with them and would like to have at least one 135 and the 300 back to work and would like to know what I can do to try and fix the remaining module or what I'd assembly to replace the missing module(s) on the other two processors..or where I'd try to look for those modules.

Edit:
Decided to gut the units and keeps the cases for use with something else.
thanks
