Hello,

Does anyone here got to install one of these or has more information about it? I did see the single page manual for it in the manuals section but it doesn't tells much about this device. it may fits well for the kind of theatres and projectors I service.I'm interested in it.
I sent an E-mail to Smart about this product several months ago but no reply (from them too [Frown] ) is it still being produced or was a limited run? any other information about it as availability (sp?) performance and so is welcome [Smile]
Thank you!

Luciano,

I am sorry you got no reply from us regarding the Laser Lens. I don't know what happened, but I apologize.

We have not carried the Laser Lens for several years. We did not make this product, but we did sell it at one time. We dropped it because we could not guarantee good illumination uniformity. There was too much time spent in testing these to make sure that what we shipped had uniform illumination.

I do not know if the manufacturer ever resolved the illumination problems.

Oscar,
thanks for the reply on this. [Smile]
Thought the laser lens was a recent product (2 years or so) since only now I read about them.
too bad it had problems regarding illumination and was dropped [Frown]
it'd be a good option for a few of the theatres I service and that'd go to red ligh but without spend a lot in a full reverse kit.
Let us know if it comes back sometime in the future.
thank you!
