Just having returned from this years CinemaExpo in Amsterdam, i'm still amazed by the way BVI presented their trailers this year: "Cinerama"-style, using three Christie-2K-DLP-projectors on corresponding three screens. Wonderful!

I was wondering if anybody has taken a picture of this brilliant presentation (using his digital-camera in his cellphone, which have made it behind the security-lines of the Sunshine-brothers...)?

Was the screen curved and did any images join to flow across all three?

Not one curved screen but three screens, with a center-screen and two wings on both sides in about 45 degrees angle. Not seamless as well. But: looked wonderful! BVI used this configuration for both multivision-style images and one coherent image on all screens.

Looked somewhat like this:

(This image does not show the installation at CinemaExpo!)

Well, if you want to call it D-Cinerama... [Smile]

That's not cinerama! That looks more like those cheap displays they have at Best Buy (a TV Wall) to demonstrate their fake HDTVs. [Smile]
