What would be the diference in the white dust if it came from the print or if it would be an aligment problem. I was waitng a couple weeks to see if it would be the prints or if indeed it was the aligment. I am leaning towards the aligment because the white dust seems to be accumulating at the intermitent of our millenium head. It concerns me it is not so much dust, its more like tiny flakes. I have never had an aligment problem so I am not sure.

White dust is almost always from projector abrasion of the back side of the film. Most likely culprit is the shoe that holds the film against the intermittent sprocket -- check for any wear, rough spots, or incorrect tension or alignment.
