My copy of van helsing has a notice white gap on the soundtrack side at the edge of the picture in a few reels (2 and 4 I think)

I think it is on the master print.

It projects on the masking, but I can crop that…

My concern is that it will play havoc with the dts (it is right next to the time code).
I will test it soon. Right now it is in a dolby house.

Can any one confirm that they have this gap as well?

Can anyone confirm these reels play fine in DTS?

The studio print that I ran two weeks ago here in New York had no white line and it ran fine with no problems in DTS.

One of our prints also has this problem on reel 4. We have not put it into DTS house, but I expect that it will not be able to track this reel.

Ours is the same, but no problems with the DTS.
