Talk about slack!

I started to make up a print of Cat in the Hat today i removed the leader got to the join of the attached trailer and noticed some slack bugger had joined the tail on soundtrack ass about. Fair enough i think mistakes happen. As i get to the end of aforementioned trailer i notice at the splice again soundtrack wrong way around again. Thinking thats just plain complacant i fix and continue make up. After opening credits i feel another splice, is it man made or lab i think rewinding back. And believe it or not another about face on the soundtrack. I was bewildered. So i rung up UIP asked WTF is going on after being passed from extension to extension for 30 minutes i just said tell your projection/make-up/screw-up/whatever department they need either glasses or the sack and hung up. I suppose it's good to see distributers worried about the film presentation that big companies pay them for. Hooray to you.
