Every year I show, here in Portugal, a new 870 movie with a P8 DTS disc. We usually record the portuguese voices here, send them to the distribution company (in a DAT ), which then sends it to the DTS labs to create the CD with the soundtrack.

This year the distributor is telling us he need either a DA-88 tape or 35mm of the mix before he could make the DTS disc, and this will turn the process very expensive.

Can someone, please, tell me if a DTA is enough for DTS? This is the 5th movie we will show with portuguese voices, and we never did a DA-88 before…
