Irrespective of individual faith or the actual content of the film it has to be admitted this is an extraordinarily cinematic experience by filmmakers utterly committed to telling the story as they feel it happened.

Does anyone have any opinions on whether or not the movie should have unusual or exceptional presentation in theatres?

I'm thinking of traditional 'roadshow' presentation as far as is possible in the multiplex environment.

Also, the chewing of popcorn and the slurping of drinks seems a bit disrespectful in the circumstances.

What do you think?

Frank,

I'll go easy on you this time because you are English and we all know that English is like a second language to you.

Wrong forum: This isn't a technical discussion and belongs in Yak.

The general concessus is that there are too many "Passion" threads and it is too difficult to find what you are looking for. So I'm sure that in no time at all a moderator will come along and lock this thread. Care to take any bets? I'm guessing that it will be less than an hour.

So while this thread is open, I will tell you that "Passion" is a popcorn flick and to not allow concession sales on some moral or respect reason is just business suicide. We discovered that "Passion" generates more than usuall concession sales. Besides I don't know how you say no to concession sales for one room in a multiplex.

It's just a movie!

Too many Passion threads!

Look here

Choose a thread. This is also the wrong forum for the discussion about such things as mentioned in your post. Ground Level would be the best place or even Yak.
