I am considering buying a good, used superlumex lamphouse with rectifier in good working condition. I am not looking for an exact price; but I would like to know of a good ballpark figure I would expect to pay for one. A PRICE THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED REASONABLE.

Depends on age, total hours, and reflector condition. High hours lamphouses will more than likely have dried up and cracked wiring insulation, as well as dried out and cracking nylon screws. I aquired a VERY high hour Super Lum-Ex for my home screening room a coupe of years ago. It required a new wiring harness, new nylon parts, and total repainting. Since I did the work myself except for the powder coating it was inexpensive to rebuild. The reflector was also in very good condition in my case. As for as-is pricing, depending on 100 factors, anywhere from 500.00 to 2000.00. You also really have to judge what it is worth to you based on condition and such.
