Does the Cyan track fail to block the ultraviolet or infer-red spectrum?

Here are the spectral dye density curves for the cyan, magenta, and yellow dyes in Kodak VISION Color Print Film 2383:

http://www.kodak.com/US/plugins/acrobat/en/motion/products/curves/ti2397d.pdf

Note the cyan dye has peak density at about 660 nanometers, so a red LED is a good match for optimum signal from the cyan dye. The dyes are all fairly transparent to infrared and ultraviolet energy.
