How do I work out what aperture plate I need to order as the one I have looks like it's been cut with a CHAIN SAW!(projector is a SIMPLEX 35 model 1050)

Strong part P-9654 should be the dual auto aperture plate. It should come under-cut (smaller than normal holes) so you can cut it to the desired size for your screen.
