Withing few day I'll finally have a DTS in my installation too. Since we have three CP650 with EX capability I'll show EX movie with DTS disks using both DTS and EX. However DTS does not have DTS-ES trailers available, while dolby have the "waterfall" that clearly say that the show is projected using Dolby EX.

Why doesn't DTS create a DTS-ES specific trailer? (and a DTS-ES plaque)? I know that all of us are waiting for new dts trailers, so the question is primary made for DTS!

Bye

Karen H. had said they were working on a new one, but that was probably about a year ago. I think DTS's lack of new trailers is a disgrace. 2 trailers in 11 years is ridiculous.

Right on! DTS was too busy selling the XD10 and saying ROTK was going to be 3 discs this year to work on the new trailer [Big Grin] . Nevertheless, I can't wait for what they have, and just hope it is better than Sonic Landscape. I want something that will either make me laugh or scare the [bs] outta me!

I just quit running the trailers. I now have a Dolby Da20 in the mix and still have 2 stereo only houses wich I hope I can get two more digital units for. It just became to much of a hassle to swap the trailers around for the different formats when you have to move a film because it is not performing.

If only we could be blessed with the skill to instantly splice a Dolby trailer for a DTS trailer even while running a film and fixing a tail wrap. [Big Grin] . Ok, now that's 3:30am talking.
