Anyone know why Brother Bear is cropped to 1.85 for about the first 25mins, I have'nt actually watched it. Is it for effect, or did they screw something up that was too expensive to fix??
(Im guessing 25mins because I noticed it's reel one and about a quarter of reel two when making it up)

It came with a very nicely printed 'comic' for, I guess, the dummies that the whole print is to be screened in 2.35:1 ! Was cute.

Bill.

Hmmmmm no wonder my search for 'BROTHER BEAR' only resulted in a review by INSERT NAME HERE.
The topic you sent me to is titled 'Brother Bear-various aspect ratios (page1)'
I can only guess the hypen/dash screwed it up ??
I feel dumb now, but I think the search engine is dumber!!
NO, now think of it, WHY has the topic poster put the hypen in between Bear and various?? - It's he who is to blame for me looking foolish!!

Bill

Mark, I ran off and read the thread, my question has been answered, it was not a fault, but artistic.

Thanks Bill.
