Hi

Has someone noted that the new CP650 software version (I do not remember the number now...) the one with 8ch comatibility (on the screen at least!) put excessive gap on format switch? If I switch between SR and DD suring the show I have a annoying silence gap in the auditorium. Few milliseconds, ok, but much longer than before.

Has anyone noted it?

Bye

I would really need to know the software version first. I may have the same problem but different software...or the same software but no problems.

We'd have to know if we are comparing an apple to an apple.

Yes sorry, I think it's the first one with the eight channel on the display, I saw brand new 650s with the same problem. However I'll post the exact release soon.

I believe the first 8-channel version of the firmware begain with version 2.1.x.x where the "x" could be any number.

With that you also received the ability to have an internal crossover.

My personal favorite firmware is 2.0.10.8...it is the most stable of the CP650 firmwares I've used (no glitches I"ve come across and has all the features I want.).
