I got a print of "Veronica Guerin" recently (new, never run) which came from TES on reels which are similar to those that some ETS prints (esp. Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox) have shipped on lately. These are the clip together type which have two tabs (one on each flange) which hold the reel together. The TES version is orange and says "Technicolor" on each flange.

Has anyone else seen these? Will TES be using more of these in the future? If so, it's a big step up from their previous attempts at reels, although one out of the six (all brand-new) still arrived broken.

Marvelling at TES reels does take an enormous amount of time, so perhaps you should go a little easy on the guy. After all these aren't normal reels, they're TES reels.
