Is the physical lamphouse caseof the ORC cinex35 the same size as the ORC m1000? I'm trying to match my second projector to the running one at the moment. Are they the same length?

Bernie, I think they are. However, available power of the M1000 lamphouse is sufficient to run a 750 watts safely. The Cinex 35 can handle a 1600 watt bulb if the power supply has the balls to handle it.

That's the problem. The power supply for some of those Cinex 35 lamps might not be capable of throttleing down to 750 watts.

If I understand this correctly, tha older ORC bulb rating of 1000 watts were actually 750 watts and not 1000.

Hey guys...correct me if I am incorrect. It has been 23 years now since I fiddled with them.
