Ive noted that the Panastereo Cp1200's boot/power up into Non-Sync 1

However the Dolby Cp65's power up into mono (or any film format, for that matter).

This is most annoying as we do a run down about 60 seconds of junked/old trailers, and if I forget to change format to non-sync it can scare me in bio or ushers checking/on point at cinema entrance.

Imagine, everything fired up, silence, then I hit the projector motor for the run down.... WoooooooooHooooo Blarbbbb...bleee

Is there an easy jumper change to make a cp65 to default to non-sync?

Bill!

If you look on the Cat 443 card in the bottom rear corner, you will see a block of jumpers. They are labeled for the different formats. Format 60 is non-sync. Move the jumper from 01 to 60 and you should wake in non-sync. The CP-65 also has the option of 2:4 decoding of the non-sync, which you will also see on that jumper block. Unless you are running video content that is Pro-Logic encoded, it is recommended that you leave the non-sync in the standard format.

Just for reference, The Panastereo boots up in whatever format it was in when powered down. Normally, this is Non-sync 1 since this would usually be the format in use when powered down. This behavior can be changed, but I do not remember the details at the moment, and I cannot look it up since I am not in the office (I am at ShowEast).
