This is a Quote from Brad's post in the film info forum in the Rundown thread.

quote:
Intolerable Cruelty *Do not run this trailer if you can avoid it. Throw this one away and use another copy of this trailer from your existing loose stock. It is printed way, way, way off center right and there is a black band on the left side of the screen.
I have also seen this on the stock trailers. Is the entire frame off with black bar on left or only in the white section with the text. I have seen it in the white section.

I haven't looked at it on screen yet, but even the green band is way, way, way off center right.

I HATE this. We are running it on that new Woody Allen flik (cant remember the name). It is the first trailer on the pack, so a lot of projectionists frame the sucker up! (In addition to being off center, it is also printed WAY down.)

Sounds like it may be a production error. Let them know.

John must be correct. The AMC Hamilton included a trailer for Intolerable Cruelty in the preshow for American Splendor. I didn't see notice any black bar down the side of the screen.

Of course this was an AMC so naturally I saw no green band. [Big Grin]
