I was just in checking a splice and I noticed all these beige colored splotches all over the screen. It also had a few black specks.

Do we just have a not so good print or did they do that on purpose to make the film feel more gritty?

Probably CAP code or something similar. Mine was plagued with terrible markings just like everyone has been complaining about lately.

The print I screened was excellent, nothing wrong at all.
