Anyone ever replace these and what super bright LED did you use? Any reccomendations here would be appreciated. Surely these are off the shelf standard super bright devices of some sort.

I believe those LEDs were single sourced from HP.

With the number of readers we've had go bad lately it would be nice to be able to just replace the LED's here. The last two Sony repaired readers we had done were returned one without the flywheel, and the other with mis-adjusted pad rollers. Both still had hooked sprockets as well. We have since stocked up on the LaVezzi sprocket thats used on the reader plus had them hard coated for longer life.
If Sony keeps this up I can definately see the systems being pulled from service at alot of theatres over the next couple of years.
