I found several comments about this company's lamps... none of them good:

What's your favorite lamp?

When we opened our indoor house, the tech that helped me get the booth ready provided me with 2500 watt lamps from this company. We didn't talk about brands at the time... it was just what he brought with him to get the booth started.

As of yesterday, we've gone through the two spares I had in the booth. Both bad lamps had welds on the end caps that failed. The on-screen, light started going everywhere, and current dropped to 25-40 amps by the time we shut them down & replaced the bulb(s). The failures were within 3 weeks of each other.

Each bulb had barely hit 1800 hours, and the envelope was getting pretty dark. One of the remaining 2 originals looks like it might not last another week.

Just checking to see if anyone has changed their opinion about this brand, or if it's still generally bad. In any case, I think I'll be trying SPQ lamps in these Super Lume-X's. SPQ's 4 & 7 kW bulbs continue to work very well for me.
