Author Topic: Hollywood Motorized Rewind Jeff Taylor Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 601 From: Chatham, NJ/East Hampton, NY Registered: Apr 2000 posted 12-27-2002 11:22 AM                     I came across a "Hollywood" motorized rewind that has a good working motor and foot control, but the shaft doesn't turn. It's completely enclosed and I haven't torn into it yet, but wondered if anyone is familiar with the drive system in these and what's likely wrong. Is it black or grey? How do you know the motor is working if the shaft doesn't turn? That sound strange to me. Anyhow, I'd suspect the belt first. Open it up and take a look, it's pretty straightforward inside.
