Author Topic: Southampton Uni Filmsoc refit Mike Rendall Film Handler Posts: 78 From: Southampton, Hampshire, UK Registered: Nov 2002 posted 11-28-2002 12:37 PM                     I thought I would just mention that Union Films, Southampton University film society has just had a major refit with the construction of a new cinema. Pictures and information can be found by clicking below UF web The projection equipment consists of a Cinemeccanica Victoria 8 35/70mm projector which was originally installed in the Millenium Dome in London. It has a Cinemeccanica Zenith 4K Lamphouse (originally from BAFTA preview theatres also in London) with a 2k lamp. We now have a collection of old lenses that are now no longer suitable. I believe they are 90mm for flat and 110mm for 'scope backing.
