About a month ago, I sent in a request for one of those theatre promo packs when I bought my dolby digital processor. Well, I mailed it about 6 weeks ago and have heard nothing since. Whats up guys?

About a year and a half ago I was working at a 12-plex with 9 CP-500's. I sent in a request for the promotional items and it took nearly two months to get them. You will get them, eventually. As to why it takes so long, I have no idea.

Josh - just get on the phone and give them a call if you don't receive it within the time frame Ken mentioned...

Personally, I don't think waiting 6 to 8 weeks is too far out of line.

Josh,

I have the name and number for a contact at Dolby. I always have seen an excellent response. I will get you that number as soon as I get back into the office. I am in a village called Kotzebue, Alaska. I am currently above the Arctic Circle and several hundred miles away from home.

The guys name I believe is Patrick Atiraga (last name I am not sure about).

Just remind me sometime after the 12th.

FWIW, many times larger companies subcontract "fulfillment" of promotional materials to other companies. They may wait for a certain number of orders to come in before forwarding the requests to the fulfillment company.

FWIW, Brandlocker handles Dolby's 'consumer store' for everywhere but Europe.
