Brad,

For some reason my reply to Antonio in the topic "SMART Three Way Crossover" did not post correctly and I could not get it to work so I started a second topic on the subject.

Antonio,

Do not worry. In BYPASS mode, the MF and HF outputs are high pass filtered with a passive RC filter to prevent driver damage. The LF output is allowed to run full range.

The BYPASS mode is there for emergencies only in the event the crossover fails. The sound balance between the lf, mf, and hf will most likely not be correct, BUT there will be still be sound and you can probably go on with the show.

You may want to test this sometime when you are not running shows just to see what the sound is like in BYPASS. Do NOT expect it to be as good as normal mode because it will not be nearly as good. Remember this BYPASS mode is for emergencies only.

I hope this information clears this up for you.
