Hello, two days ago the feature Swimfan which has run in SRD for 2 weeks with no problems moved to an analog only auditorium and all three trailers are barely audible above the noise coming out of the speakers. As soon as the Fox logo comes on it sounds perfectly normal. This auditorium has a Jaxlight red LED and both A chain and B chain were performed very recently. I have swapped out 3 new trailers and they all sound exactly the same...crappy, as soon as the movie starts it sounds fine. Swimfan has only SRD encoding and there is no digital in this auditorium, so when the projector starts, the sound is SR and when the feature starts it's still in SR. What is happening? It can't be the new silverless soundtracks because I have a red light reader. Any ideas as to what this is? Thanks

Look at the analog track on the trailers that have the very low level. I suspect you may have a trailer that was printed with "high magenta", but not applicated due to a lab error. Magenta dye alone will not effectively modulate a red LED reader. What is the color?

Magenta + dark gray application: High magenta with normal application

Magenta dye only: High magenta where silver redeveloper was not properly applied , will NOT play well on red LED reader

Dark blue (magenta + cyan) + dark gray application: conventional track

Dark blue only (magenta + cyan): conventional track without application (should still play on red LED reader).

Also, can you measure the level of modulation of the loudest parts of the analog track? Measure the width of the loudest/highest modulation of the optical track.
