I'am the proud owner(at least in my opinion)of 5 U2 heads and 2 bases. 2 of the heads are water cooled and 2 are air cooled and 1 is parts. My extreme thanks to Larry in Norfolk for his help in obtaining some of them. I am planning on putting them back together to use for special screenings. I hope to have them mounted in a truck that I can use at film festivals and outdoor screening. Including being able to run 70 on them again. I have a am transmitter and a old Smart Drive- In pre-amp I plan on using and I hope to run Carbon arc on the 2 projector setup. All feedback is welcome. I will post pictures as the retro comes along. If anyone else has any U2 parts they wish to donate to the cause it will be of great help. I need a wiring connector and other parts for one of the bases. I am also looking for thoughts on making up a bracket to make the vertical adjustment easier to do.
