What's the availability for Ashcraft spares?
A Core-Lite (not Super Core Lite) needs
1. A new reflector to replace a cracked one (book spec is 16")
2. A blower motor & housing (the whole thing is gone, including the 3-hole flange which bolts to the bottom of the lamp house

The manual specifies "graphite lubricant" for several points: square rotating shaft, upper negative slide rod, rotating head, positive drive chain, positive rotationg chain, negative chain, dowser swivel stud. This can't be regular powdered graphite; for something like the square rotating shaft it would need to be graphite in some sort of sticky/slimy carrier. What's being indicated by "graphite lubricant"?

What's this guage mentioned in the manual that is "shipped with every Core-Lite" for positioning the positive 6 3/4" from the back of the reflector when inserting it? Can it be bent from sheet metal? I just stuck a measuring tape through the reflector & snagged the back to measure.

Has anyone got a ballpark figure on UltraFlat's reflector re-silvering cost?

Remember, the way to remember which carbon is which is that blue electricity shoots out of the positive carbon, & orange electricity shoots out of the negative carbon. Both "negative" & "orange" have an "n" in them.

I would try Wolk in Chicago and International Cinema Supply in Miami.
